Block Paving Driveway and Path Sealer

Ready to use solvent based block paving sealer, hardwearing acrylic formulation. BLOCK SEAL (wet look) block paving sealer will create the wet look on block paving rejuvenating the colour.

Block Paving Sealer will enhance the colour, seal and protect your driveway, patio or path.

Sealer helps minimise moss, algae, lichen and weed formation when applied correctly, joints should be re-sanded for optimum results.

100% UV resistant, resists oil stains and water damage.

Suitable for – residential, commercial or industrial customers that want an hard-wearing product.

Maintains the performance life of the pavers.

USES AND SURFACE COMPATIBILITY
Suitable for use on concrete block paving, brickwork and concrete.

Note:- Not suitable for clay pavers.

BLOCK SEAL sealer will help protect the surface of block paving from oil spills and prevent oil staining.

Coverage:- 40 - 60m2 depending on surface porosity of the block and application method.

Special Instructions

If sealing block paving for the first time.

Due to the porosity of Concrete pavers two coats of sealer are recommended. The first coat will act as a primer as the solvent will carry the acrylic resins into the matrix of the pavers and provide a key for the finish coat to adhere to.

Instructions for use

Compatible with all of our products range.

The surface must be completely dry before application, of BLOCK SEAL applied to wet surfaces will turn white.

Must be applied at a minimum temperature of 10°C. Ambient temperature

should not fall below 5°C during the drying time.

Maximum slab temperature on application should not exceed 25°C.

Do not apply over damp surfaces or when high moisture content in the air.

(Winter months after 3.00pm).

Apply using a roller or soft broom, allow 4 - 5hrs drying time before opening to foot traffic and 72hrs before opening to vehicular traffic.

Health & Safety: Wear suitable clothing, gloves and eye protection.

This material contains solvents and should only be used in well ventilated areas.

Face masks must be worn. No naked flames or sparks. No smoking.
